Michael Sullivan is a retired corporate executive turned licensed sea captain who started Live It Up Charter after years of cruising up and down the West Coast from San Diego to the San Juan Islands. On these trips, he and his captain John Curry were amazed at the natural beauty of the coastline including its rich assortment of sea life and the welcoming small and large ports along the West Coast that offered nightly entertainment.
It was on those trips that they began discussing the formation of a business that would make the best of these adventures available to people who didn’t have luxury yachts or the time to manage them and yearned for an affordable experience on the ocean beyond the beach.
